I'm an award-winning film and television editor based in Los Angeles & Toronto, with roots in rural Nova Scotia. My filmmaking journey began at thirteen with a borrowed DV cam, a dream, and some creative arguments about alternative school assignments. Storytelling has always been my passion, which led me to study Literature, History, and Cinema as an undergrad, attend film school, and eventually train as an editor at the prestigious Canadian Film Centre.
Empathy and collaboration are at the core of my process. I bring a mix of precision and intuition to every project, diving deep into the rhythm and emotional core of a story to shape each cut in a way that resonates with audiences both viscerally and intellectually. Whether I’m working on visually complex, effects-driven productions or honing the nuances of character-driven dramas, I focus on creating a seamless blend of technical craftsmanship and bold, imaginative storytelling.
Inspired by filmmakers like Wes Anderson, Boots Riley, and Wong Kar-Wai, I gravitate toward projects that pair stunning visuals with deeply human stories. I’m always looking to connect with collaborators who share a passion for pushing creative boundaries and creating films that leave audiences thinking long after the credits roll.
Let’s connect and craft something extraordinary!
